Overview
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a large, colourful island-themed Moderate resort set around a central lake — and, importantly, the hub of the Disney Skyliner. That makes it one of the best-connected Moderate resorts at Walt Disney World.
Location, transport and rooms
As the Skyliner hub, Caribbean Beach has gondola access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios (buses for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom). Rooms are comfortable Moderate-standard, some in pirate-themed buildings, and there is a lively pool, a sandy beach and table-service dining at Sebastian's. Includes Early Theme Park Entry.
Who it suits, pros and cons
Best for guests wanting a step up from Value — nicer theming, pools and dining — plus the Skyliner connection.
Pros:
- Skyliner hub — quick to two parks.
- Relaxing island theme, beach and good pool.
- Table-service dining on site.
Cons:
- Very large and spread out — long internal walks.
- Buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
- Moderate pricing above the Value resorts.
Our recommendation
Orlando Compass recommendation: Caribbean Beach is a great Moderate pick if the Skyliner appeals — request a room near a Skyliner station or the main hall to cut the walking. For more charm or a grown-up feel, compare Port Orleans and Coronado Springs. Check live rates below.
