Overview
Disney's All-Star Resorts — All-Star Movies, All-Star Music and All-Star Sports — are the cheapest way to stay on Walt Disney World property. Each has bold, larger-than-life theming (giant film reels, instruments and sports gear) and the full on-site perks, at the lowest Disney room rates.
Location, transport and rooms
The three All-Star resorts sit together in the Animal Kingdom area and rely on bus transport to all parks (no Skyliner or monorail). Rooms are basic but functional; All-Star Music also has family suites. As Value resorts they include Early Theme Park Entry and the standard on-site benefits — the draw is purely price plus being inside the Disney bubble.
Who it suits, pros and cons
Best for budget-focused guests who want the cheapest on-site stay and do not mind basic rooms and bus-only transport.
Pros:
- Cheapest Disney on-site option.
- Full on-site perks, including Early Theme Park Entry.
- Fun, bold theming; big pools.
Cons:
- Basic rooms; can feel busy with large groups.
- Bus transport only — no Skyliner or monorail.
- Food court dining only.
Our recommendation
Orlando Compass recommendation: choose an All-Star resort when the priority is the cheapest on-site stay. If you can stretch a little, Pop Century adds the Skyliner and refreshed rooms for not much more. Off-site value alternatives are in the cheap Orlando hotels guide. Compare rates below.
