Overview
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the standout Value resort for families — built around immersive themed areas from Cars, The Lion King, Finding Nemo and The Little Mermaid, with the headline draw being its family suites that sleep up to six. It sits beside Pop Century and shares the Skyliner.
Location, transport and rooms
Art of Animation is on the Disney Skyliner to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios (buses for the rest). Its family suites — with two bathrooms, a kitchenette and separate sleeping areas — are rare at a Value price and a big reason families pick it; standard Little Mermaid rooms are cheaper. The themed courtyards and the huge Big Blue (Nemo) pool delight kids. Includes Early Theme Park Entry.
Who it suits, pros and cons
Best for larger families who want space and immersive theming without Moderate/Deluxe prices.

- Family suites sleeping up to six — great value for groups.
- Brilliant, immersive theming and big pools.
- Skyliner to two parks.
Cons:

- Food court dining only.
Our recommendation
Orlando Compass recommendation: for families of five or six wanting to stay on-site affordably, Art of Animation's suites are hard to beat. Smaller groups who do not need a suite often get better value next door at Pop Century. Compare live rates below.
